On November 1, 2020,?the Southern University of Science and Technology was honored with its fifth consecutive “Outstanding Talent Scout Award” from Shenzhen at a glittering ceremony at the Wuzhou Guest House in downtown Shenzhen. Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee Secretary Weizhong WANG, Shenzhen Mayor Rugui CHEN, and other city leaders joined SUSTech President Shiyi CHEN and Vice President Dongxiao ZHANG with other senior SUSTech officials and professors.
President?Shiyi?CHEN received the award on behalf of SUSTech, along with a 3.75 million RMB prize, to recognize its first place for talent introduction.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of SUSTech. SUSTech has always paid enormous attention to the introduction, training, and cultivation of talented individuals on its campus.
