On November 6, 2020, SUSTech Education Foundation and Symbiotic Health-ecosystem Development (SHENZHEN) Co., LTD., signed a donation agreement towards the University’s new buildings and the university-industry collaborations.
According to the agreement, the donation will support SUSTech to build an art museum and a university museum, carry out art activities, and flourish art and culture on campus. The two parties will also promote the high technology transformation by jointly building the SUSTech College of Business-Emerging Industry Symbiosis Research Center to encourage biomedicine development, artificial intelligence, and other major health care fields and 5G and Cloud Computing R&D facilities and manufacturing.
On behalf of the Symbiotic Health-ecosystem Development, Chairman Danning LIU hopes to support the scientists with their industrial support through building research centers, and to promote an innovative education model by integrating teaching, research, health consultation, diagnosis, and venture capital investment in the future.
